Samsung recently released an updated version of the latest May 2019 security patch for the global variants of Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, and Galaxy S10+ carrying build number ASE7, up from the previous builds ASE6 and ASE5.
After releasing the buggy build ASE5, Samsung patched it with build ASE6 and then later rolled out build ASE7, another patched up version. This latest update has the same changelog as the initial rollout, but the updated build number means the bugs from build ASE5 and even ASE6 have now been patched.
Even better is that the newest build ASE7 is now rolling out to multiple countries across Europe, Asia, and Africa. So, if you are still worried about the May patch that brings bugs to the S10 devices, well, this isn’t it, so be sure to grab it once the download notification arrives.
This update, besides installing May patches, also adds Night camera mode to the ultra-wide angle lens, Live focus to the wide and telephoto lenses, and more.
