Even as we are inching closer to the release of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note 8 with each passing day, the leaks are getting intensified. Up till now, the specifications and design of Galaxy Note 8 which have surfaced online via leaks and reports have us hooked already. And the latest one to hit us is the retail price Samsung plans to attach to Galaxy Note 8.
As per a report from Venture Beat, which credits the information to an individual briefed on the company’s plans, Galaxy Note 8 will be Samsung’s most expensive smartphone yet carrying a retail price of €999.
The report also claims that Samsung will launch the Galaxy Note 8 in black, blue, and gold colors. Interestingly, the report says that the launch event will be held sometime in September, brushing away past rumors about an August release.

Galaxy Note 8 will take away the credit of being Samsung’s first device to boast of dual rear cameras which Venture Beat says will get a horizontal placement and placed to the left of the flash and heart rate sensor. Each of the dual cameras will be of 12MP resolution with independent optical image stabilization feature. The report further details the fingerprint scanner placement which will find a place at the rear to the right of the flash and heart rate sensor.
Other reported Galaxy Note 8 features include 6.3 inch display, Exynos 8895 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipsets, 6GB RAM and a 3300mAh battery. It will also come with DeX capability, something which we saw in Galaxy S8 and S8+.
