More photos taken by the Galaxy Nexus 2 – or the Galaxy Premier as it’s supposed to be called – have been discovered, by Italian website Tuttoandroid. One of the photos was taken on the I9260XXALI5 firmware which was used in a photo that was leaked earlier as well, and the second photo has been taken from a new I9260XXALI9 firmware version.
There’s quite a mystery surrounding the Galaxy Nexus 2 aka Premier, because while it’s expected to be an upgrade over the Galaxy Nexus, it apparently sports a single-core 1GHz processor under the hood, which would be a major downgrade. However, other specs of the device have been rumored to be an 8MP camera, 8/16 GB storage with microSD card support (as opposed to the Galaxy Nexus), 4.65 inch HD display, and Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean, which make that single-core processor the only wildcard in the supposed upgrade.
With so many leaked details about the Galaxy Premier/Nexus 2, I seriously wish Samsung comes clean with an announcement about it, or we’ll be scratching our heads for a long time to come.
