Samsung has started rolling out the May security update to its Galaxy J7 Prime as well as Galaxy C9 Pro handsets. Notably, this is the first security patch the company has released in this month for any of its devices.

Arriving with the build G610YZTU1AQD7 and C9000ZCU1AQE2 for Galaxy J7 Prime and Galaxy C9 Pro (China) respectively, the update installs the May security patch on both the handsets.

As is the case with any other security patch, the update brings along several bug fixes alongside performance and stability improvements.
