The Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro is finally being updated to Android 7.1.1 Nougat in India. Users in the country can expect to see the update notification very soon. The update is being delivered over-the-air and can take anywhere from a day to a week to reach all the devices.

If you’ve got a Galaxy C9 Pro, then this should be good news for you. The Android 7.1.1 Nougat update brings a slew of changes to the smartphone. It includes the Samsung Experience 8.5 UI that has less clutter and will be noticeably smoother than the TouchWiz UI.

You will get all the features from Nougat, as well as some Samsung tweaks and improvements. Apps such as Device Manager and Camera have been improved from Samsung’s side of things. We are still not sure if the C9 Pro would receive an update to Android Oreo, but if does happen, don’t expect it till late 2018.
