We just found that the Galaxy C5 Pro bearing the model no. SM-C501X has made it to Wi-Fi Alliance, which holds some meaning on its own. That, we can count on Samsung to release the smallest of the C-series handset to release in Europe and India, as well as other parts of Asia, pretty soon now.

You see, the C5 Pro that impressed the WiFi authority guys earlier bore the model no. of SM-C5010, where ‘0’ stands for Chinese version. But today, that changes, the X at the end of model no. SM-C501X means it could be your SM-C501F model, which should be set for release in Asia and Europe.

The Galaxy C5 Pro is yet to release even in China, BTW.

Samsung launched the Galaxy C9 phablet back in 2016, and followed it up with Galaxy C7 Pro last month, but it’s said that it intentionally held the C5 Pro’s release to fill the gap between launch of C7 Pro and Galaxy S8 itself, scheduled for March.

Check out the rumored Galaxy C5 Pro specs here.
