Earlier this year, it was rumored that Samsung is prepping many new Galaxy A series smartphones and one of them is all geared up to be launched soon. Following the same, the Galaxy A8 smartphone was spotted at FCC, the U.S. regulatory database tipping an imminent launch.
The Galaxy A8 also got leaked in multiple photos and its specifications were also revealed lately. Now, the device has been captured on a video that shows it in full glory ahead of its official unveiling.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 is said to feature a 5.7 inch Super AMOLED display with a Full HD 1080p display and make use of an octa core Snapdragon 615 SoC teamed up with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of native storage space.
The Galaxy A8 is claimed to run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box and feature a 16 MP main snapper at its back and a 5 MP front facing shooter at the front. A 3,050 mAh battery energizes the Galaxy A8 from within.
The smartphone features a metallic frame measuring 5.9 mm thin and a touch based fingerprint sensor. The hands-on video also reveals some of the features of the Galaxy A8 such as its camera.
