We already know about the 2017 edition of Galaxy A3 in the making, along with its bigger brothers Galaxy A5 and A7, but today, we have some solid proof in the form of Geekbench listing.
Yep, we have this bad habit of peeking at Geekbench listings, and that today revealed the Galaxy S3 tests results, sporting specs of an octa-core processor dubbed as universal7870 assisted by 2GB of RAM, and running Android 6.0.1.
The specs are as much unsurprising as you would get for an A3, but at least we know the device would live one more generation, which also brings to light the fact that current gen was pretty successful too — enough to warrant a successor in 2017.
With Samsung rumored to be going all gaga over curvy displays — think of, S6 Edge, S7 Edge and Note 7 — so much that it’s thinking about discarding the whole business of flat display for its upcoming solid next BIG thing, Galaxy S8, we’d like to wonder how many more years go by when we start seeing a curvy display on the devices like A3, A5, A7, etc. suffixed with Edge moniker.
FYI, the next years Galaxy S8 sets could be the Galaxy S8 Edge (sporting 5.1″ curved display) and Galaxy S8 Edge Plus (sporting 5.5″ curved display). Of course, these names are the product of our own imagination, but what else they could be. haven’t you missed an Edge+ device this year? And did you really want a regular Galaxy S7 this year? Think.
Galaxy A3 expected release date
Well, it could announced in before the end of this year, in December itself, followed by quick launch in the same or next month.
