Around the same time last month, we reported that Samsung’s Galaxy A3 2016 was spotted on Geekbench running the Android 7.1.1 Nougat. And now, it has been cleared by the Wi-Fi Alliance but with Android 7.0 Nougat onboard.
This also indicates the fact that the update is ready and should be rolled out to the Galaxy A3 2016 users within no time. Once the OTA reaches your handset, you will be able to utilize all the new features that the Nougat brings along with it.
For instance, you can get extra battery life with the improved Doze mode, better notifications, multi-window mode, and much more.

As mentioned earlier, the Galaxy A3 2016 was previously rumored to directly receive the Nougat 7.1.1 update instead of the version 7.0. However, looking at how things are turning out to be, that is highly unlikely to happen.
Recently, the company had also started rolling out the Nougat update to the Galaxy Note 5 users in Korea. It’s good to see the company taking care of both the high-end devices as well as the mid-range handsets alike.
