Follow these steps to maximize your efficiency while hunting for Putrid Seaweed:
Step 1 – Locate Merlin and purchase a Twisted Relic for 500,000 coins.
To get to Merlin, go to Sunstone Island first.

Climb up the stairs.

Go straight and find Merlin.

Now purchase a Twisted Relic.

Step 2 – Head to the Keepers Altar and use your Twisted Relic to enchant your rod.
To get to Keepers Altar, go to Statue of Sovereignty.

Climb up to the cave.

Take the elevator to the mines below.

You’ll now be at Keepers Altar.

Here, stand on the big block.

Select your Twisted Relic.

And Enchant your Rod.

Continue until you successfully roll the Putrid enchantment

Step 3 – Look for the small cave for catching seaweed
Now return to Sunstone Island. Near Merlin, go down and look for a small opening for a cave.

Step 4 – Start fishing for Putrid Seaweed
Cast your line and wait for a bite.
