How to find Soma

You’ll hear the unmistakable sound of Soma’s flute from inside, but can’t enter until you perform a special action. Follow these steps to find Soma:

Step 1

Stand in front of the cavern’s locked door, ensuring you’re equipped with Atsu’s Shamisen.

Step 2

Swipe left on your controller’s touchpad to bring up the Shamisen menu, then select “Song of Soma”.

Step 3

Play the song as prompted, which will amuse Soma and trigger the opening of the gate, allowing entry.

Step 4

Enter and press forward, using grappling hooks and crawling through mountain gaps as required.

Step 5

When reaching the crossroads inside, veer left and break the bamboo door with your grappling hook to progress.

Step 6

Approach Soma, who will be playing a song at the far end. This action initiates a cutscene, then a 1v1 boss fight against him.
