Begin at Wansheng Dock. Speak with Shen Qing and Yu Xian, who are concerned about their missing coworker and ask you to deliver a gift to him.

Walkthrough
Follow these steps to complete Fair Trade Wandering Tale in Where Winds Meet:
Step 1
Head to Wansheng Dock. Approach Shen Qing and Yu Xian. They explain that Wang Juan has stopped coming to work and request that you deliver a special gift they purchased for him: the Imperial Exam Cram Guide.

Step 2
Travel to Wansheng Town and locate Wang Juan’s house.

Step 3
Enter the house. Inside you will meet Wang Ping, Juan’s younger brother who is bedridden due to illness.

Step 4
Speak with Wang Ping. He tells you that Wang Juan hasn’t returned home for several days.

Step 5
He suggests checking Wang Juan’s desk. Search the desk to find a laureate list posted at Jadewood Court, with Wang Juan’s name faintly visible. This confirms he actually passed the exams despite abandoning his studies earlier.

Travel to the North Imperial Garden. Locate Wang Juan and confront him about both the exam results and his disappearance.

Give him the booklet purchased by his friends. He admits it is too late now: he traded away his study ambitions to earn money for his brother’s medical care. He thanks you, and the Wandering Tale ends.
