What to know

There are exactly 6 Cameos to collect in Code Violet, and finding all of them unlocks the Curators Piece trophy (Gold).
Cameos are small, static collectibles; they look like little framed portraits or plaques on walls or in corners.
The game has no chapter select, so if you miss a Cameo, you’ll need to replay from the start to get the trophy.
This guide follows the normal story order, so you can grab each Cameo as you progress through the facilities.

There are six Cameos to find in Code Violet, and collecting all of them unlocks the Curator’s Piece gold trophy. These small collectibles are easy to miss, and since there’s no chapter select, missing one means restarting the game. This guide follows the story order, helping you grab every Cameo in a single playthrough.

Cameo 1 - Testing Facility

You’ll find the first Cameo in the Testing Facility’s Laundry room, shortly after solving your first puzzle and opening the initial hackable door. Head to the far left corner of the room, the Cameo is sitting on top of one of the washing machines.

Cameo 2 - Preservation Facility

The second Cameo is hidden inside the Plasma Heating Control room in the Preservation Facility, once you’ve unlocked access to the area. Enter the room and move toward the large pipes on the left side of the computer terminal. Crouch and crawl underneath them to slip into a narrow side passage. After getting through, turn right and check along the wall, the Cameo is resting there and is easy to miss if you don’t crawl under the

Cameo 3 - Communications Facility

Cameo 3 is in a small side room just south of the Cinderline Power area in the Communications Facility. Solve the lever puzzle in the Cinderline Power room to open the southern door. Go through it into the control room, and as you step inside, check the cabinet immediately on your left, the Cameo is sitting right there.

Cameo 4 - Bioengineering Lab

You’ll find this Cameo in the Clone Monitoring Room of the Bioengineering Lab. Once inside the room with the clone tanks and statues, head toward the center statues. One of them has the Cameo tucked behind it, slightly out of sight. Circle around the statue and interact with it to pick up the Cameo.

Cameo 5 - Disposal Facility

Cameo 5 is hidden in the Grinder room of the Disposal Facility. Once inside, move to the right side of the computer terminal and look for the line of large pipes with valves. Slip behind the second pipe from the right, where the Cameo is concealed out of sight. Step closer and interact with it to collect it.

Cameo 6 - Disposal Facility

The final Cameo is found in the Sewage Overflow area of the Disposal Facility. After entering the area, make your way toward the southern end of the room. Look for a large pipe running along the wall, the Cameo is tucked behind it, close to where Mites are roaming. Walk around the pipe and interact with it to collect the last Cameo and finish the set.

Curators Piece trophy

Once you’ve picked up all six Cameos, the Curators Piece trophy will pop automatically. Since there’s no chapter select, it’s best to follow a collectibles guide like this one on your first playthrough to avoid missing any. If you’re going for 100%, make sure to also grab all Decorative Eggs and outfits along the way.
