In Escape from Duckov, consumables like yogurt are rare, but essential items for upgrading your base and progressing through quests.
Yogurt location
Yogurt generally spawns as a random item in foodboxes and food crates, especially around the radio tower and the warehouse area. While some players get lucky and find yogurt early, for most, it’s a grind. Warehouse-plus areas slightly increase your odds.
The most dependable method, though, is to visit certain vendors. Two named NPCs stand out:
- The hooded man on the mountain, also selling honey. You need cash for his wares.
- The mysterious merchant located in Farm Town, on a hill above the Sanatorium, in the southeast sector. This merchant reliably sells yogurt, cake, honey, vodka, and other rare consumables. Bring cash and be ready to carry your haul.
How to unlock access to yogurt vendors
Some vendors aren’t immediately available. To access the Farm Town vendor, move southeast of the Sanatorium until you find the hill with buildings—look above for the merchant’s setup. Ensure you have sufficient currency for purchases, as items aren’t cheap and may be limited per visit.

The mountain merchant (the hooded man) becomes accessible by following trails leading up from Ground Zero and braving any hostile ducks along the way. He’ll appear only at certain times or after you clear out threats from the area. Always bring enough currency, as his stock may rotate.
How to get yogurt from loot spawns
If you’re not buying, rely on looting runs in areas known for food crates:
- Radio tower near Ground Zero
- Warehouse zone, particularly inside foodboxes
- Random spawns in extraction zones and some high-value camp chests

Drop rates aren’t high. Players have reported finding just 4-5 yogurt in 50 hours through crate looting alone, so plan accordingly.
