Energy Cooldown refers to the time required for energy regeneration before you can use an ability or skill again. In Where Winds Meet, skills or abilities consume energy.
After you use a skill or ability, you have to wait for some time as energy does not refill instantly. Follow this guide to understand how you can use all of the energy for character maximization.
How to use Energy Efficiently
It takes 75 hours for your energy to fill up again. If you are not going to play the game for some time, it is better to use all of your energy to maximize your character.
There are various methods to use all of your energy. Campaign challenges and outpost challenges are the easiest ones that cost energy to complete and get rewards. You can also battle world bosses again.
If you noticed an outpost draining a lot of energy, you may be claiming double or triple rewards. You can choose to claim the reward for 20 energy.

You can also claim a chest; it takes 20 to 40 energy to claim one. Using it on chests is also a good idea, as you cannot stack it. You get one energy every nine minutes. You can also use a pill powder to get it back to 60.
The energy cooldown makes the game more friendly as the energy is saved from being wasted while offline. By using all of your energy, regeneration continues in the background.
