As you dive into Duet Night Abyss, side quests like “Go, Geniemons!” offer fresh challenges and surprises away from the main storyline. This mission gives you a hands-on introduction to creature interaction—letting you feed and care for unique Geniemon companions. By following Snow’s clues and using route-specific techniques, you'll not only encounter new faces but also permanently unlock new gameplay features that shape your experience in the world of Icelake.
Unlocking the Go, Geniemons! quest
Before you can access “Go, Geniemons!”, you need to have finished “The Art of Survival.” Only then does the quest become available in the Sanctuary.
How to start Go, Geniemons!
To begin, teleport to the Sanctuary and find Snow, an NPC waiting to share her concerns. Engage Snow in conversation about the mysterious rumors, which will lead you to search for a giant pig near the lakeside of Lamenting Lake.

How to reach Lamenting Lake
You must leave Sanctuary and check your map for access points. If the “Windwake Pier Avian Tower” is not yet unlocked, you can teleport to “Icelake Outskirts Avian Tower” instead. Follow the onscreen quest marker down to Lamenting Lake. As you approach, you’ll spot two men talking. To reach them, use the fragile ice platforms, which require quick movement. Employ the Helix Jump ability to travel swiftly and avoid falling in.
