Yes, there’s an HD version coming. Or so it seems, according to the EXIF data of a few camera pictures supposed to have been taken by the Droid RAZR HD. Previously rumored to be the Droid Fighter, the new data suggests that it may get released as the Droid RAZR HD. And the camera will, according to rumors be able to take 13 megapixel pictures and will have an aperture of f2.4 (like the iPhone 4S).
The RAZR HD will also supposedly have a 4.6″ HD screen according to a pre, with the virtual on-screen buttons taking up part of the 4.6″ as they do on the Galaxy Nexus. And of course, virtual on-screen buttons mean that the device will debut with Ice Cream Sandwich Android 4.0 out of the box. Also, to take care of the demands on an HD screen, the RAZR HD will come with a 3300 mAh battery just like the RAZR Maxx.
The original Motorola Droid RAZR was an amazing device, and still is, thanks to great design and great hardware, and a successor with beefed up specifications can only mean good things, specially the HD screen that would go really well with the RAZR’s design. Till more details show up, here’s hoping it all comes together and the Droid RAZR HD turns out to be a reality.
