We had told you a couple of days ago, about the 0.7.2 software update scheduled this week for the Motorola Droid Razr HD and Razr Maxx HD users. While all we knew at that point was that it was a security update, there is some additional information available now about what this new update brings to your device.
While the Google security patch has been included, the update also brings with it support for Isis Mobile Wallet. The Isis Mobile Wallet will let users add details of their credit or debit cards and pay via NFC at Isis Ready SmartTap merchants, with a single tap on the payment terminal.
Keep in mind though, that only the Austin, Texas and Salt Lake City, Utah markets currently support Isis Wallet. If you’re not in either of these markets, you won’t be able to use Isis Wallet for now. Well, that’s a bummer. But at least a start in the right direction.
