When it comes to updates, you can’t rely on YU to get you the Yureka Marshmallow Update fast enough, or let’s say timely enough. Going by the experience we had as regards Lollipop 5.1 update, not only official Marshmallow update could be delayed, it could be pretty buggy build too.
Thanks to excellent developer community Yureka, codename Tomato, enjoys, we have many good Marshmallow custom ROMs available that brings the coveted Android 6.0 update for Yureka. The unofficial update looks pretty similar to what official Marshmallow update for Yureka will look like, because it’s based on AOSP and uses stock UI, something with YU also does.
YU has intentionally removed customization of all sorts from its devices, which is good. Like Motorola did. But while that has allow Moto to bring much quicker updates, YU has been terrifyingly laggard in this case.

Anyway, let’s focus on what’s available here as regards YU Yureka Marshmallow update. We’ve picked out as many as five custom ROMs already, and each of them is unique and comes with its own set of features for extra customization and productivity.
The Yureka Marshmallow Update gets you all the cool features of the Android 6.0 update as seen on Nexus devices, albeit with extra features and options of the custom ROMs. The AOSP ROM below lacks features other than official Marshmallow build as made by Google, as this brings you almost the Nexus experience on Marshmallow.
