Download Verizon Droid Turbo update 23.21.49.en.US build SU4TL-49

Verizon yesterday released an update to its Motorola Droid Turbo that isn’t what we hoped for — hint: Marshmallow — but brings only some ‘security patches and improved network performances’. Well, below you will find a direct link to download the said update, software version 23.21.49.en.US, and build SU4TL-49.

While the Verizon will be rolling out the update in phases to all Turbo devices soon, over the next 3-4 weeks or so, but if you want it early, then just download the update from below and install it on your device — make sure that you are not running custom ROMs like Resurrection Remix, CyanogenMod, etc. as you need to be on stock Motorola ROM/firmware for the OTA.

The software version in zip file doesn’t matches to update’s build no., that because the version in filename is the version for which the update is made — that is, you have to be on that version for this OTA to be successfully applied. About how to install the update, look at the guide available here.

If you are running a custom ROM and want to go back to stock Motorola ROM, then download the TWRP backup from here (this is Motorola stock ROM), and restore it using TWRP. You should be using this modded TWRP for Turbo available here — yes, you have to install this TWRP only first.

Note: While this will not re-lock your device’s bootloader, but if you are still on locked bootloader and want to unlock the bootloader of your device in future, we’d say you ignore this update.

Do let us know if you need more help in this regard. Enjoy!
