HTC has confirmed the official Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for its 2014 flagship phone, One M8. The update is scheduled to release by the end of 2015 by HTC, however, if you happen to own one of the carrier branded variants, you might have to wait a bit longer to get the official Android 6.0 update.

OR, if you’re someone like us, always wanting to live on the edge of latest and greatest from Android, you could go ahead and install an AOSP based custom ROM on your M8 to get Marshmallow right this instance.

For the Sprint HTC One M8 users, developer invisiblek over at xda has released an unofficial build of CM13 for Sprint One M8 that’s based on the source code of CM13 released by team CM over at github.

You can grab the Sprint One M8 CM13 ROM from the download link below and simply flash it via TWRP recovery along with a Marshmallow compatible Gapps package.
