Okay, Google Chrome is hands-down the go-to browser for most, if not all the smartphone users. As it turns out, this is in no way keeping Samsung away from improving its own web-browser called the Samsung Internet which the company pre-installs in all of its smartphones. And while it is at it, the South Korean tech giant is adding a few interesting features to the browser.
The company has just released the Samsung Internet Beta app on the Google Play Store. With this app, users will get early access to a set of features that the company is developing for its web-browser even before a stable version of the same is launched. As mentioned earlier, the Samsung Internet Beta app packs a couple of interesting features such as CloseBy extension (similar to Android’s Nearby feature), support for DuckDuckGo, and Amazon shopping assistant.

Going forward, the company may also add other interesting features to the Beta app in its next iteration. If these features excite you enough you can download the app directly from Google Play Store or install the APK from the download link below. Do make a note that the app offers support only for Samsung and Google handsets (Pixel and Nexus) which are on Android 5.0 or above.
