OnePlus has just released Oxygen OS 1.01 update with a patch for the OnePlus One touchscreen issue. And along with that, the company also shared a cool tool to help you migrate from CM 11/12 to Oxygen OS without loosing your data.
The OnePlus One Migration Tool has actually been developed by the folks over Fastboot Mobile and XDA,. The tool is currently in beta, so it’s not guaranteed to work 100%.

If you’re on Cyanogen OS, then try the OnePlus One Migration tool to install Oxygen OS without loosing your data.
How to use OnePlus One Migration Tool
- Make sure you’re running either Windows 7 or 8 and you’ve .NET 4.5 framework installed. If not, download and install from here.
- Unzip the OnePlusOneMigration-logging-Beta1.zip file.
- Transfer the Oxygen OS 1.01 .zip file and .md5 file to the “download” folder inside the contents extracted in Step 2 above.
- On your OnePlus One, go to Settings » Developer options and uncheck “Update CM Recovery” option.
- Connect your OnePlus to the computer, also make sure USB debugging is enabled.
- Run the “OnePlusOneMigration.exe” file as administrator.
- Accept any prompts it gives for drivers, they’re signed by OnePlus so are safe to install.
- Follow through all the prompts the Migration Tool gives you and you’ll soon have Oxygen OS installed on your device.
