Motorola may not be releasing a Marshmallow update for its 1st Gen Moto G, but you can still install it on your Moto G using a custom ROM. We’ve provided some ROMs below that will upgrade your Moto G to Android 6.0 right away.
Because these are not official updates from Motorola, the ROMs may have some bug here or there. But because they are based on latest Android OS, 6.0, they are worth a try.

Well, download the ROM of your choice from above first. Then check the link below to guide on installing a custom ROM.
Be sure to also download and install Marshmallow Gapps linked below as these contain Google Apps like Play Store, Maps, etc. that are missing in the ROMs by default.
