Drivers are essential when connecting your HTC U11 to the PC. Normally, Windows takes care of driver installs automatically. But this isn’t a guaranteed method and may sometimes result in faulty connections. The easiest solution is to download and install HTC’s own sync software for PC. This will guarantee the installation of all the right drivers.

Connection issues also arise when using faulty cables or USB ports on your PC. The problem may also be due to faulty contact on the device end too.

HTC U11 Driver Troubleshooting Tips

If you still encounter issues when connecting your HTC U11 to your PC, then the problem may not be with the drivers. It could be due to a faulty USB cable or maybe the USB port itself. Try the following:

  1. First, connect your device to different USB ports on your computer.
  2. You can also try using different USB cables. The original cable that came with your smartphone should work best.
  3. Then restart your computer.
  4. If that didn’t work, then try the same on a different computer.
