Google Play Music just received a major UI update in the play Store bringing the app version to 5.7.1717Q.1530520. This no ordinary UI change, with Android 5.0 announced, Google is finally releasing the Material designed Google Play Music which was first teased at Google I/O in June 2014.
The new Google Play Music v5.7 has officially released to the Play Store now, we were expecting Google to push out this update after the release of Nexus 6 and 9 or after releasing of Android 5.0 factory images for Nexus 5 and other Nexus devices. Play Music 5.7 comes with the beautiful new material design UI and integration with Songza, a service that curates music based on your current activity. Google acquired Songza this summer only and this is the first integration of the service into Google music service.
