After doing the rounds of various certification sites, Android Nougat powered Galaxy Note 5 has become a reality. Sadly, for now it is restricted withing the demographic boundaries of Turkey. Nevertheless, Samsung has commenced the roll out of the new software update to the Note 5 device in the country.
The Galaxy Note 5 users in Turkey have reported receiving the Android 7.0 Nougat update as firmware build number N920CXXU3CQC7. Other than installing the new Nougat software, the update also brings with it the March security patch as well as the Nougat goodies. Once installed, the Galaxy Note 5 users will be able to enjoy enhanced UX experience, improved notification features, split window mode, improved settings menus amongst other features.
The Android Nougat update is being pushed as an OTA update. Thus, it should hit your devices anytime soon, if it has not yet. However, if you do not want to wait for it, you can either manually check it by heading to Settings » About device » System updates, or you can download the full firmware from the link below.
The OTA update weighs in at 1294.79MB, it would be wise to get connected to a WiFi network before initiating the download. Also, get your Note 5 sufficiently charged.
