Eight Chaotic Formations is a Divinecraft Dungeon puzzle in Where Winds Meet. Different chambers of the challenge hold different puzzles, ranging from rotating intricate pillars to darting past flame traps and solving interactive mechanisms. Here's everything you need to know about it.

Location and How to Start

The Eight Chaotic Formations Divinecraft Dungeon is located in Jadewood Court in Kaifeng.

The nearest waypoint is Grand Canal.

From your waypoint spawn, go right towards the rocks. You'll find the dungeon entry past the small rivulet.

To enter the dungeon, interact with the lever.

Eight Chaotic Formations mechanics

The puzzle involve sound wave redirection, rotating pillars, and activating specific mechanisms. You must use skills like the Meridian Touch to interact with magical gates and rings, while also navigating traps such as spikes, flames, and collapsing platforms. Timing and precision are crucial, especially when jumping across fragile wooden tiles or dodge moving flame walls.

The dungeon challenges you to carefully observe sound propagation using directional speakers and bells, tweaking their angles to unlock doors and reveal hidden chests. Strategic use of ranged attacks to trigger sound-based puzzles, combined with mobility skills to survive hazards, forms the backbone of progression in this dungeon

Walkthrough

Step 1

Enter the dungeon, drop below, and use Mighty Drop to break through the rubble.

Step 2

In the central room, you'll have eight doors, most of which will be closed. But two of them will be open.

Walk through the first one, go right and claim your free chest.

Down the corridor will be the bell. Strike it.

Then use Meridian Touch on the door on the left.

Step 3

Drop down. Stand on the left and strike the bell.

Then use Meridian Touch to open the door.

In this new room, go underwater and find another Chest.

Step 4

Come up and climb on the platform with the bell. This bell will work to amplify the sounds wave. Make sure it faces the door.

Step 5

Now strike the bell that was previously struck (from the area you came).

The sounds waves from this bell will channel through the other ring and towards the door. Use the Meridian Touch to open the door.

Step 6

Go through the door to the main chamber where a new door will be unlocked.

Step 7

Return to the central room and go through the other open door. Claim your free chest.

After collecting this chest, go left. You will come across a deadly spike contraption. Use the lever there to turn it off.

Walk through the area.

To the right, you'll see a small space that you can squeeze through.

Step 8

Go right and get the chest.

Step 9

Then go back and go straight.

Step 10

In this room, jump ahead and grab the chest under the bell.

Step 11

Move forward by hopping on to the platforms and get to the targeted bell in the room. Make sure it is facing the door.

Step 12

Make your way to the door. Then strike the first bell.

The sound waves will travel to the targeted bell which in turn will lead to the door.

Step 13

Unlock the door using Meridian Touch.

Walk through the door to the central room where a new door will be unlocked.

Step 14

Go through the door, climb down the stairs, and find the chest on the left.

Step 15

Then go right and wait for the fire to stop before moving ahead.

Step 16

Turn left and do the same - wait for the fires to stop before moving through.

Grab the chest on the right.

Step 17

Turn right, and make your way through another fire corridor.

Step 18

Turn right, take the stairs, until you arrive at the breakable floor.

Grab the chest on the right.

Step 19

In this room, go to the targeted bell, turn it clockwise so it faces another targeted bell under the door.

Then go to the bell under the door and Lift it up.

Step 20

Finally, strike the hanging bell.

Use Meridian Touch to unlock.

Step 21

Make your way to the next puzzle room.

Step 22

This room has bells going round the room. There's a bell as you enter the room, one on the right, and one straight ahead. Then there's a bell inside a locked door.

For the first part, you want to send the sound to the left of the room. Then strike the hanging bell until you're able to use Meridian Touch on the locked door with the bell inside.

Step 23

Move the bell inside to face the last locked door.

Step 24

With the bell on the right facing the one in the center, and the center bell facing the final locked door, strike the hanging bell.

Use Meridian Touch to unlock the door.

Step 25

Climb up the steps to another room with a similar puzzle. But before we get to the puzzle, go to the right of the room and grab the chest.

Step 26

Strike the hanging bell (at the entrance).

The sound waves will travel to the right and open the gate there.

Step 27

Go through the gate and turn the bell after it so that it is facing the bell inside. Then strike the hanging bell again. This will open another door (the one facing the bell inside).

You will now reach the final part of the room.

Step 28

The only bell you need to move is to the left (before the room entrance). Turn it around to face the bell (from where you just came). Then strike the bell and use Meridian Touch on the last locked door.
