Xiaomi’s upcoming phablet Mi Max 2 has been in the making for a while now. We have also come across several leaks revealing quite a bit about it, but nothing official had emerged. Well, that was up until now. Xiaomi has listed Mi Max 2 on its official online website. At least it seems so from the screenshot below.
This official acknowledgement by Xiaomi about Mi Max 2 again comes through an unofficial source. Actually, a Weibo user revealed the news of Xiaomi unveiling Mi Max 2 on its official website with a screenshot attached to confirm his stand. Based on the screenshot, the news definitely cannot be denied. But then, chances of it being dubious are also quite high.
Now, a lot has been said and written about Xiaomi Mi Max 2. In fact, its release could be just days away. This time Xiaomi has plans to release Mi Max 2 in two versions — standard and pro. The former would be equipped with 4GB RAM and Snapdragon 625 SoC while the latter will be lucky enough to be endowed with 6GB RAM and the latest mid-range Snapdragon 660 processor.

Mi Max 2, which is a successor to Mi Max, will be shipped with Android 7.1.1 Nougat with MIUI on top of it, as per GFXBench listing which also says that there will be 12MP rear camera with auto-focus and flash and a 5MP selfie snapper on board. As regards the screen size, the device is expected to sport 6-inch 1080p display. But GFXBench did hint at a 6.44-inch screen. Underneath the massive screen, the phablet will carry a humongous 5000mAH battery.
