In ARC Raiders, the Destroy Fireballs Weekly Trial challenges you to find and eliminate Fireball ARC enemies during surface raids. Fireballs are unique sphere-shaped enemies that spit fire and require some tactical engagement to destroy efficiently. Completing this Trial with high points not only helps you climb the Trials leaderboard but also rewards rare loot and seasonal progress.

The objective is simple find and destroy as many as ARC enemies- Fireballs.

Fireballs best spawn locations

Most common in the Dam Battlegrounds’ Control Tower, Research & Administration, Testing Annex, Water Treatment, and Hydroponic Dome Complex.

They are also found in Buried City (especially in metro stations and tight interiors) and Spaceport maps, though these are higher difficulty areas.

Dam Battlegrounds
  • Look in Control Tower, Research & Administration, and other multi-story complexes.
  • Indoor spawn rate is high, and layouts funnel Fireballs into chokepoints.

Buried City
  • Metro tunnel entrances, parking garages, and residential blocks often have Fireballs mixed with Pops and other ARCs.
  • These tight corridors let you quickly encounter several without much roaming.

  • Interior sections like Flight Control and Tower B6 are more dangerous but can net many spawns in one sweep.

How to destroy a Fireballs quickly

Fireballs roll toward you and will attack when close. The most efficient method:

  1. Engage from medium range so the Fireball opens its core — that’s its weak spot.
  2. When the shell opens, shoot the core directly with a high-damage weapon.
  3. Loot the remains for Fireball Burners (useful for separate quests).
Note: Fireball Burners themselves are item drops from Fireballs, not needed for this Trial but handy for other quests.
