Where Winds Meet has a lot going on, energy, sect duties, bounties, arena, trading, and weekly shops. This guide simplifies things, showing which daily and weekly activities are worth doing and which can be skipped. Follow this routine to hit key caps, earn essential gear and cosmetics, and progress steadily, even if you play just a few hours a week.
How to spend your daily energy
Energy refills slowly and caps at 500, so using it daily is key to steady progression. Focus on quick, high-value activities to burn your energy efficiently before moving on to other dailies.
- Campaign / Outpost Challenges: ~4 minutes per run, good for materials and XP.
- Sword Trial: ~5–10 minutes per run, great for gear and materials, especially during triple reward events.
- Open the Challenge menu and choose Campaign/Outpost or Sword Trial.
- Spend your 160 daily energy (usually 3 Campaign/Outpost runs or 1–2 Sword Trial runs).
- Claim your rewards and continue with other daily tasks.

How to do the essential daily activities
These are the core things you should do every day to keep progressing.
Hair combing (Blissful Retreat)
At Blissful Retreat, you can unlock free hairstyles by interacting with the mirror inside your house. You can do this twice per day, with each interaction granting a random hairstyle. After about 6 days (11 total uses), you’ll unlock all 11 hairstyles available from this activity.

Battle Pass dailies
For Battle Pass dailies, open the Battle Pass menu and complete as many daily quests as you can. Keep in mind there’s a weekly cap of 6,000 Battle Pass XP, so once you reach it, you can safely skip Battle Pass dailies until the next week resets.

Sect Jianghu errands
For Sect Jianghu errands, go to your sect page and accept up to 6 errands per day. These tasks reward sect reputation, materials, and sect shop currency. Since reputation has a weekly cap of 1,200, players with a higher sect rank can usually reach it within 2–3 days.

1v1 Arena
The 1v1 Arena is available for 12 hours each day, split into two 6-hour windows. Playing a few matches daily helps you level arena talents and earn Jade Fish and Adventure Slips. Aim for 5–10 matches per day, which usually takes only 10–15 minutes.

Heal the goose (Qinghe)
In Qinghe, interact with the goose to start the healing minigame. You can complete this activity 5 times per week, so it’s best to spread it across different days. Rewards include goose eggs (which can hatch into a pet), along with ingredients, coins, and XP.

Well of Heaven special training
For Well of Heaven special training, open the co-op menu and join a training session. Complete the objectives, especially Slogan Snatches, to earn +1 Constitution. You can do this once per day for up to 10 days, after which it’s no longer necessary.

Bounties (Bounty Hunting + Vendetta)
For NPC bounties (Bounty Hunting and Vendetta), open the bounty board and accept all 6 Bounty Hunting and 8 Vendetta bounties. These are guaranteed to be clearable and reward 4-fold Coins with no weekly cap. Completing all daily NPC bounties takes about 30–40 minutes and yields roughly 1,800 4-fold Coins.

Trading market (Kaifeng City)
The Trading Market functions like a stock market, with item prices changing daily. Buy items at or near their base price, then sell them later when prices spike. This is the primary way to earn Commerce Coins, which are used for trading, Pitchbot, and certain exploration activities.
- Visit the Trading Market in Kaifeng City and check which items have price fluctuations.
- Buy 1–2 fluctuating items when prices are low.
- Check prices daily and sell when they’re high, either in your own market or in a friend’s co-op world.

How to Complete the Weekly Routine
The weekly routine matters more than dailies because it controls caps, shop value, and long-term progress. Focus on hitting key caps and buying the right weekly items—everything else is optional.
Season Shop (Jade Fish)
The weekly cap is 20,000 Jade Fish, which is usually easy to reach through normal play. Each week, prioritize buying all items in Combat Development, gear chests only during the first week after a level breakthrough, and all Career Notebooks from Professional Development.

Battle Pass Shop
Each week, purchase the Custom Martial Arts Breakthrough Chest, Mystic Skill Breakthrough Chest, and Custom Martial Arts Upgrade Chest from the Battle Pass Shop.

Weekly PvE Clears
For weekly rewards, clear both bosses in Hero’s Realm once (no energy required), use Smart Assist if needed. In Sword Trial, defeat the final weekly boss to claim the echo cosmetic reward.

Adventure Slips
Adventure Slips are used for Arena Stones and cosmetics, with a weekly cap of 1,000. They’re usually earned naturally, but if you’re short, complete extra co-op activities like Well of Heaven or Hero’s Realm to reach the cap.

Guild Weekly (only if you’re in a guild)
Each week, you can earn up to 2,500 Guild Activity Points by completing guild missions. Key activities include Guild Hero’s Realm (once per week), Breaking Army (twice per week), and Guild Showdown (twice per week). Completing these missions rewards Treasure Tokens for the guild shop.

Harmony Charm
Farm Harmony Charms through co-op activities with partners, disciples, friends, or sworn allies (weekly cap: 2,000). Co-op also helps you reach the weekly intimacy/discipleship cap.

Weekly Shop Checks
You can buy 2 Lingering Melodies each week for 400 Echo Jade per item; the purchase resets weekly.

Follow this routine to steadily unlock gear, cosmetics, and progression without burning out, even if you only play a few hours a week. We hope you found this guide helpful—share your feedback or questions in the comments, and we’d love to continue the conversation with you.
