It’s here HTC Incredible S users — the CyanogenMod 7 (CM7). If you have a penchant for custom ROMs then you’re just gonna celebrate this news. And in case this doesn’t sound exciting to you, try this ROM once and you would celebrate your decision. But whatever, those who wanted CyanogenMod can finally breath a sigh of relief since the official team has just released their build of the CM7 for Incredible S.
Though, the S-ON security spoils the moment for many of the incredible S users since they can’t OFF the security to install any custom ROM — too bad, no software hack is available to S-Off the Incredible S (except the hardware thing called XTV clip which costs too much — but it’s still a great moment. Once the S-Off is attained via a software route, it’s simple gonna be awesome.
We hope the MIUI offices are also busy porting their awesome MIUI ROM to Incredible S. And that, someone is able to develop the software hack for obtaining S-Off.
Back to CM7, here are some screenshots to cheer you up. (Sadly, the Download Link has been taken off, as also the official thread at XDA here — I can’t access this page right now.)
