The Family Ties intel is found in the Distortion mission right when you reach the container for the “rescue Woods” objective. Instead of opening it, climb the tree roots and grapple to the floating platform behind the container, then turn around to spot a small opening in the floating rock. Grapple into the hidden gap and you’ll find the intel hanging on the wall.

Unlocking Family Ties Intel: Step-by-step guide

Step 1

Play through the Distortion mission until you survive the boat ambush and get the objective to escue Woods. Head to the container you’re supposed to open, but don’t enter or open it yet.

Step 2

Instead, hop onto the tree roots and use your grapple hook to reach the floating platform behind the container.

Step 3

Turn around and you’ll spot a small hidden space inside the floating rock. Grapple over to it and collect the “Family Ties” intel hanging on the wall. Make sure to grab it before moving on, as it’s easy to miss if you head straight to the container.
