Scene:
"While flying above Avalon, Specter One's VTOL is ambushed by a squadron of Guild drones. Suspecting a mole, they pursue the surviving drone, whose flight logs may provide intel pointing to the traitor."
Walkthrough
Step 1:
You start the mission in Avalon, on the northeastern area of the map. Your first objective is to locate the tablet for that you will have to reach and search the Colosseum. From the starting point and between the colosseum there are quite a few structures and houses, you should search these are any useful loot and health item. Although keep in mind that you will also encounter enemies in between. One way to traverse this area is to jack an armoured car and use it to travel to the colosseum, the heavy machine gun on the car can also help in clearing the enemies. Although the colosseum is barely 400 meters away from the starting point and if you want you can easily get there on foot as well.
Step 2:
Clear the guards outside of the colosseum and head inside and head down the excavation site right in the middle of the inner area:
Step 3:
Once inside you will have to navigate through hallways and multiple passages to reach the inner section of the tunnels. These passages will be defended by enemies and turrets heavily. Some enemies might even have shields so it is not recommended to try and rush them solo, wait for your team and push together.
Step 4:
Fight your way through and head to the right to find this boxing ring like arena:
Step 5:
Jumping into the arena will trigger an enemy horde of mostly robots and raiders. You will have to defeat every single enemy as one of the enemies in this arena will be holding the tablet. Once you have grabbed the tablet head back towards the hole from where you entered the underground area and go back to the surface.
Step 6:
Once you are back on the surface your objective should change to "Secure the SAM launcher" which you can see in your HUD as well:
Step 7:
Once you exit head straight out and move northwards to find the SAM launcher site, the site and path towards will be full of enemies. The SAM launchers will look something like this:
Step 8:
Get close to the launcher and interact with the console there taking control over it. This will trigger a wave of more enemies. Now that you have captured the SAM launcher is now to hold the site against enemy hordes. The enemy will arrive in 3 separate waves with each wave getting more difficult. Try to use cover instead of taking them head on, there are cement road blocks around the launcher which you can use as cover. Note that the waves arrive in VTOLs, so if you found any explosive or projectile launcher now would be a good time to use it, if you blow up the VTOLs before all the enemies get offboard that will make holding the site considerably easier.
Step 9:
If you manage to survive all the enemy waves and defended the SAM launcher it will trigger a cutscene marking the end of the mission and beginning of the next mission "Fracture".
You will receive the 'Wing clipper weapon charm' as reward
Tips:
- Stay close to your team while pushing through underground pathways, as there is very few cover in there and a lot of enemies. If you get knocked down being close to your teammates will also help them in reviving you.
- Take your time to loot the area after you have cleared the enemies as everything might come handy in the last objective. Keep an eye out for explosives and RPGs.
- Remember that there is no proximity requirement while defending the SAM launcher, which means you can get as far away from the launcher as you want while holding the site. The mission will not fail if you leave the proximity of the launcher site.
