Cincinnati subscribers should be very happy to hear that their carrier has been able to struck a deal with HTC, to launch the One S for them. Even though One S is not considered as a very high-end — tag of which goes to its bigger bro, One X — the One S on Cincinnati will by no means a low-end device. It packs in cool 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display along with one of the fastest processor on earth right now, the 1.5 GHz dual-core S4 processor, 1GB RAM, etc. in body just 7.8mm thick, and comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with all new HTC sense 4.0 on top of it. Other specs include: 16 GB storage space, 8 MP camera in back and VGA camera in front, Wi-Fi, 3G, 119.5 grams in weight, etc.
The Cincinnati One S would launch on June 25, and would cost $199 on contract. If you are at Cincinnati and are looking to buy a new device or upgrade to one, the One S is serious contender.
Unlike the Samsung Galaxy S3 which would arrive at all major US carrier – Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and US Cellular – the HTC has been unable to struck a similar carrier-wide deal for its One series of very impressive phones. The all-carrier launch of a phone surely helps phone manufacturer and doesn’t give the pains of changing the carrier to get a device you like the most, or leave the carrier you like the most for a device.
