Oppo, a Chinese manufacturer of smartphones, is seemingly working on an Android smartphone having a 5-inch 1080p (1920×1080) display with an amazing 441ppi pixel density! With a display so sharp, you’d be hard-pressed to distinguish a single pixel from the other, unless of course you use a microscope.
Called the Oppo Find5, the “phablet” will run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and will be powered by a quad-core Snapdragon Pro APQ8064 processor (just like the Optimus G). CNMO and IT168 say that the device is only a prototype for now with no info on when it will hit the market.
Also, whether or not the Find5 will ever hit markets outside China is questionable, but one can only hope (though there’s always eBay). That display will no doubt be a single enough reason to buy the device, so keep your fingers crossed!
