Walkthrough
Follow these steps to complete Child's Play of War Wandering Tale in Where Winds Meet:
Step 1
Travel to Zhang Cuo Residence in Kaifeng Suburbs-West. Jade Serpent Hall members outside are gossiping about Tongwen Academy students plotting something. Approach and speak with them to initiate the quest.
Step 2
They reveal the children across the street are planning a big Madiao card battle and seem unusually serious about it.
Step 3
Enter Tongwen Academy. Head to the right side of the school courtyard, tucked in the corner.
Step 4
You will meet Ye Zixi, also known as the “Little Tyrant” and the self-proclaimed general of the academy. He names you his lieutenant and orders you to retrieve the Art of Madiao War, a supposed tactical manual.
Step 5
Exit the academy. Just outside, you will find Ren Gao and Zhuang Peng, two kids involved in the situation.

Step 6
Speak to them. They explain the truth: this isn’t really about cards at all. The children are preparing to confront Ye Zixi, who has been acting overbearing. They give you the Art of Madiao War, a messy, hand-written booklet filled with references to classic Chinese stratagems
Step 7
Return to Ye Zixi inside the academy. Hand over the Art of Madiao War. He praises your work and confidently claims he can now handle his bullies himself, and the Wandering Tale ends.
