  • The command console is found just outside the Safehouse.

The Snowy Wells safehouse in Borderlands 4 sits atop a mountain in the Stoneblood Forest, a region within the Terminus Range. To fully access it, you must locate the associated datapad, which unlocks the safehouse functionalities such as fast travel and vending options.

Getting to the Snowy Wells Safehouse datapad

Snowy Wells safehouse is positioned high on a mountain slope in Stoneblood Forest. Approaching from the east or west side involves climbing with the help of grapple hooks placed along the paths and building edges. The climb is moderately challenging and requires navigating various elevated points until reaching the safehouse roof.

How to find the snowy wells datapad

The datapad is not inside the main safehouse structure. Instead, players need to glide or jump to a separate, broken-down tower located near the main safehouse building:

Step 1

Approach Snowy Wells from below on the east side. Spot a ramp or slope that leads upward.

Step 2

Use the grappling hook to ascend the slope; look for grapple-points on walls or pipes/facilities as you climb.

Step 3

Once on or near the roof of the Safehouse, move toward an edge or exposed structure where you can use the grappling hook again to reach another nearby structure or tower.

Step 4

Glide (double-jump + glide or a designated glide point) across from the Safehouse rooftop or adjacent ledge to the broken or isolated structure where the datapad sits.

Step 5

Collect the datapad. It will glow green when you aim at it or come close.

How to access and use the command console

After you grab the datapad:

  • Navigate back to the Safehouse roof, heading to the southwest corner or outside area near where the vending machines are located.
  • Drop or climb down appropriately to reach the command console, which would be just outside behind the Safehouse.
  • Insert the datapad into the console. That activates the Safehouse — unlocking fast travel, contract boards, vending machines, etc.

Capturing Snowy Wells Safehouse properly

Once datapad is inserted:

  • The Safehouse will be claimed for you. You’ll have access to its functions (fast travel, contracts, etc.).
  • Make sure you explore its surroundings — sometimes you can find useful loot or vantage points around the Safehouse.

Snowy Wells is one of 14 Safehouses in Borderlands 4. To get the “Ruler of Everything” trophy/achievement, all Safehouses (and their datapads + consoles) must be claimed.

The Snowy Wells datapad location requires careful climbing and gliding to reach the remote tower holding it. By following grapple routes, collecting the datapad, and then activating the command console, players open up this vital safehouse in the mountainous terrain of Stoneblood Forest.
