If you thought HTC U11 was the best phone from HTC this year, we are sorry but you are wrong. According to the news report in French website Frandroid, HTC is working on a new device that goes by the name HTC U11 Plus.
Yes, the device will be a “Plus” variant of HTC U11 with the majority of the specs same as HTC U11. However, the primary difference between the two would be the display. While the HTC U11 has a classic screen, the HTC U11 Plus codenamed as HTC Ocean Master will flaunt a near-bezel-less screen. It will have a 5.99-inch display with 1440 x 2880 pixels and an 18:9 aspect ratio. This makes it the first HTC device to feature bezel-less design.

Other specifications are similar to HTC U11 which include Snapdragon 835 processor, 4/6GB of RAM, 64 or 128GB storage and HTC Edge Sense. While the device will be dust- and water-resistant (IP68), it will also support QuickCharge 3.0 18-Watt Rechargeable Battery.
In terms of optics, no, you are not getting a dual camera setup yet. HTC U11 Plus would also sport a single 12MP rear camera and 8MP front camera.
Frandroid report suggests that HTC will release the HTC U11 Plus and HTC U11 Life, the low-end variant of HTC U11 on November 11 in China followed by the gradual roll out in other countries.
