It’s finally happening, AT&T Galaxy S6 edge is receiving the much awaited Android 5.1.1 update with firmware build G925AUCU3BOI2.

The update is currently rolling out as a OTA and is 670.86MB in size. AT&T hasn’t announced the update officially yet, but some users have already received the update over at xda.

If you’re rooted with PingPongRoot, you won’t be able to install this OTA update. And even if you’re able to install it, we wouldn’t recommend you to do so since 5.1.1 update will completely break all possibilities of root on your AT&T S6 Edge. And even worse, it won’t let you downgrade back to 5.0.2 firmware builds. So, if you care about root, do NOT install the 5.1.1 OI2 OTA update.

That said, the AT&T S6 edge 5.1.1 OTA update is already on the roll, and if you’re NOT someone who cares about root, go to Settings » About phone » Software update section and check for the OTA update manually.
