AT&T has new software updates rolling out to multiple Samsung Galaxy phones from 2017 with a new Android security patch.
Both the Galaxy S8 and S8+ are receiving a software update with build number DSE5 and besides the new May 2019 security patch, the duo also receives an update to Qualcomm baseline and bug fixes.
The S8 update weighs 159.3MB while the S8+ weighs 146.5MB.
For owners of the Galaxy Note 8, the same May patch and Qualcomm baseline update are arriving as build number DSE8 and weighs in at 164.8MB.
These are airborne updates, meaning it may take several days before all S8 and Note 8 units receive the download notification.
