After rolling out a huge update that brought a combination of security patches from the months of April, May and June 2018 to the Galaxy S9 and S9+, AT&T has now turned attention to the 2017 pair of Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and Galaxy S8 Active.

The duo is receiving an update that installs the latest Android security patches for the month of June 2018. The Galaxy Note 8 is receiving an update with software version N950USQU4CRF3 while the Galaxy S8 Active is on software version G892AUCS2BRF2.

These are OTA updates, meaning you’ll have to wait for a few days before you receive the download notification. AT&T says both updates started rolling out on June 26, which makes us guess that by the end of this week or maybe early next week, every single user of these two phones on the carrier will have received the notification to update their software.

If you can’t wait, try a manual update by heading to Settings > About phone menu and check for updates, but make sure you have a stable Wi-Fi connection and enough battery juice, at least 50%, before going this channel.
