AT&T is all set to launch the Samsung Galaxy Express, which they had announced as coming soon back in September, priced at $99.99 on a two year contract. Buyers of the Galaxy Express will receive up to $100 off on a second Samsung device of same or lesser value for a limited time.
The Galaxy Express is positioned comfortably at the mid-range, with a 1.5GHz dual-core processor (likely a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4), 4.5″ Super AMOLED Plus display, 5 megapixel camera, LTE, NFC, 2000 mAh battery, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, with features such as S Beam as found on high-end Samsung devices like the Galaxy S3. The display is a Super AMOLED Plus unit like the Galaxy S2, which should provide sharper images and text thanks to the standard RGB matrix used inside.
Despite devices like the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, Galaxy Note 2, and the HTC One X+ also coming to AT&T this holiday season, the Galaxy Express should take the fancy of customers looking for an able device that doesn’t cost an arm and leg, when it launches on November 16th.
