Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge users started receiving Android 8.0 Oreo update in the U.S. a few days ago, but this was only limited to the Big Red. Now today, users of the 2016 handsets on AT&T are reporting that the carrier has begun rolling out Oreo to the S7 and S7 Edge.

The update, being a major OS upgrade, weighs in at about 1.8GB and with it comes the latest Samsung Experience 9.0 skin that adds Sammy’s customizations on top of stock Android Oreo. Those on the Galaxy S7 should watch out for an update with software version G930AUCU4CRE4 while those using the Edge version are receiving software version G935AUCU4CRE4.

The update has just started rolling out and since it’s happening over the air, it’ll take time before all AT&T users on the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge get the download notification. You can wait for the OTA notification, but you can also try forcing the update via Settings > About phone > System update.
