AT&T is pushing a new software update to 2 year old Samsung Galaxy Note 5. The update doesn’t bring any major change except for the August security patch for the device.
The update arrives with version number N920AUCS4EQH1 and should reach your device anytime soon. Alternately, you can also check for update yourself by heading to Settings > About device > System updates.
The update is highly recommended as it enhances the security of your device. As is the case with any security patch, the update takes care of various security vulnerabilities and brings along fixes to existing bugs. You can also expect performance and stability improvements from the update.

Before installing the update ensure that your Samsung handset is at least 50 percent charged and connected to a Wi-Fi network to avoid extra data charges.
Meanwhile, Samsung recently launched its next model of the Note series, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Samsung Galaxy Note 8 features 6.4 inch AMOLED infinity screen, 6GB RAM, Snapdragon 835 processor and dual rear cameras.
