Update: Sorry guys, the PE6 Marshmallow update is still not available as Odin TAR. It was PB2, which is Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. Find the AT&T Galaxy Note 5 firmware here. We are still waiting for the Odin TAR firmware file for PE6.
Update: AT&T has now made the update official. The 6.0 update for Note 5 also brings video calling, and some bug fixes and performance enhancements.
The PE6 Android 6.0.1 update is sized at 1350 MB for those on PB2 build right now, while PE3 users, it’s 1370 MB.
The video calling feature is a nice addition by AT&T. By simply taping on the video call iconin the dialer, you can initiate a video call, no extra app or anything is required.
The video call can be one-on-one, or a group one, while switch from video to HD voice and vice versa is super easy too. You can even choose to have one-side-video call.
Original post: If you own the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 at US carrier AT&T, then today is the day your Marshmallow dreams come true. The carrier just started rolling out the Android 6.0 update for the AT&T Note 5, model no. SM-N920A.
The update is pretty hefty one at 1409.30 MB of weight, but that’s something one would expect a Samsung Marshmallow update to be.
The build no. of the update is PE6, BTW, full build being N920AUCU2BPE6.
Hit up Settings, and look for a system update if you own a Galaxy Note 5 at AT&T. You may be required to update to a pre-Marshmallow build first, and then the PE6 build, so do take which ever update comes your way. It’s your Marshmallow day! As also of AT&T S6 Edge Plus users!
