Looks like AT&T is soon going to launch an Active variant of the Samsung Galaxy S8. The smartphone was recently spotted online and a photo has also been shared.

The Galaxy S8 Active(SM-G892A) will be the tougher variant of the Galaxy S8. Instead of being all pretty with glass all around, the S8 Active will feature a tough plastic construction. It will, by the looks of the image, not have the same Infinity display found on the S8 and S8+.

You can still expect the device to feature a 5.8-inch display, but with bezels. It will also most likely have the Snapdragon 835 processor or the Samsung Exynos 8895, a 3500mAh battery, and other specs carried over from the regular S8.

The phone will also support Qi Wireless Charging, as it has been certified by the Wireless Power Consortium. It will also adhere to the US Military drop certifications and feature water and dust resistance. For now, it seems like the Galaxy S8 Active will be an AT&T exclusive.
