Samsung’s new Gear S series LTE smartwatch will soon be landing in the US via two carriers, T-Mobile and AT&T. This can be inferred from the latest FCC’s listing. The US telecom regulator has given clearance to two variants of the same device named Samsung Gear S3 Classic.
The devices have been listed as model numbers- SM-R775T and SM-R775A where SM-R775 stands for Gear S3 Classic LTE while ‘T’ and ‘A’ respectively are symbols for T-Mobile and AT&T. Thus, based on this we can assume that AT&T and T-Mobile variants of Samsung Gear S3 Classic LTE will soon be released in the US market.
Last month, the Verizon and T-Mobile variants of the Gear S3 Classic LTE aso cleared Wi-Fi certification.

Although, not much is known about what different features the new Gear S3 Classic with support for LTE will be shipped with (other than the LTE, of course). But in all its likelihood, it should retain a similar design language. As for the already existent Gear S3, it comes in Classic and Frontier versions and features an always-on display. The watch is water-proof, dust-proof and can even handle extreme temperatures and occasional drops. Other features include Samsung Pay and in-built GPS.
