If you own the original Asus Eee Pad Transformer- TF101, and have been anxiously waiting for the official bump to Android 4.0 or Ice Cream Sandwich, get your dessert gear ready. Asus has announced via its Facebook page, that they’re officially rolling out the first batch of OTA updates for the TF101, starting with users in Taiwan. The update is firmware version v.9.2.1.11 and Asus promises other regions will get the update “soon after”. While there was no definite indication as yet, on when the update will reach users in other regions, notably Europe and the US, Asus’ Twitter timeline tweeted in reply to a customer that the update should hit the US market today. Looks like it is going to be an exciting weekend after all for Transformer owners across the world.
