Asus launches a new Fonepad dubbed Fonepad 7 FE375CL. the device packs LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and Micro-USB support and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with ZenUI.

The new Fonepad 7 is equipped with a 1280X800 7-inch display with 10 finger multi-touch support and anti-finger coating, and like its predecessors the tablet is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Z3530 processor. The tablet also includes 2GB of RAM, 8/16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 64 GB via MicroSD card.

The voice-calling tablet comes with a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera and a 2-megapixel front shooter. This will be the first Fonepad to run on the Android’s latest operating system.

As of now, there are no details about where Asus plans to sell its new tablet, but initially it will be release in the company’s home-town “Taiwan” and later made available globally.

The new tablet will carry a price tag of $250 in Taiwan.
